The FIFA 15 demo is now available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Fut 15 Coins isn’t a demo for the PS Vita version, but Sony has announced a new hardware bundle with the game. Although the PS Vita version of the game is a ‘Legacy Edition’, which means it’s the same game as last year (and the year before that) but with the kits and teams updated.

The Xbox exclusive Ultimate Team Legends mode, which this year adds retro players including Peter Schmeichel and Sir Bobby Moore, is the usual method but Xbox One owners can also play the demo before anyone else.

It’s a pretty hefty download, at just over 3GB, but you do get to play as Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Paris SG, Barcelona, and Boca Juniors.

You can also get a demo of Ultimate Team, with a tutorial teaching you how the trading card game aspect works and the chance to play a full match and test out the new ‘chemistry’ ratings for players.

FIFA 15 PS4 Update 1.02 Addresses Problems Raised

Fut Coins is the main competitor to the FIFA 15 series, and the games usually trade off every few years to decide which one is the best football game to buy that year. Since FIFA has introduced the Ultimate Team game mode, it’s pretty much taken over the genre. PES has introduced their own similar game type, but it isn’t as popular as Ultimate Team.

In order to differentiate itself from FIFA, the developers of PES 15 have focused on making the game more realistic. PES 15 is supposed to have footballers that behave like actual footballers instead of robots. The developers have said that the same tactics and strategy that works in FIFA 15 simply won’t work in PES 15.

They have said that PES 15 is similar to playing actual football while FIFA is more like playing Pong. One of the interesting things about PES 15 is that it will now have a truly unique feature, one that an entire country of people will appreciate. The developers of PES 15 have announced that they are adding 21 Brazilian teams to the game. This will be the first time in series history that these clubs have been featured in a PES game, and more realistically, any football game.

They are mostly lower level Brazilian clubs, but it’s still a nice gesture if you want to play as your favorite football team or player. Still, it’s yet to be seen how big of an impact this will have on players purchasing decisions. FIFA 15 is already out, so if gamers want to play the latest football game right now, they’ll have to go with PES 15.

FIFA Coins IOS will also be available for fewer game systems than FIFA 15, which means it will likely sell fewer copies overall and on a per system basis. One interesting experiment a player did with FIFA 15 and PES 15 is play the same match using the same two teams to see the differences in the AI between the two games. FIFA 15 is supposed to have more emotional players, while PES 15 is said to have better strategy and tactics.

But oh, when it all works, it’s delicious. I lost count of the times I shouted “Xbox, record that!” or hit the Share button. The only forward who takes on defenders nearly as aggressively as Messi is Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan striker for Liverpool who is perhaps too aggressive for his own good (ahem). Suarez is successful less than 35 percent of the time.

Entweder schmeißt sich dieser auf den Boden und ihr habt im Idealfall freie Schussbahn auf den Kasten oder der Keeper reißt euch um und ihr holt einen Strafstoß für euer Team raus. Alternativ bietet sich ein eleganter Lupfer (linke vordere Schultertaste gedrückt halten) an. Auch hier sind jedoch Timing und Schussstärke das A und O.Hat einer euer Teamkameraden mitgedacht, lockt ihr den Torhüter aus dem Tor und könnt dann mittels Pass in die Mitte einnetzen. Natürlich solltet ihr die hundertprozentige Torchance nicht durch eine Abseitsstellung vergeigt. FürFernschüsse sollte die rechte Schultertaste genutzt werden. Hiermit wird der Ball im Erfolgsfall elegant am Torwart vorbeigeschlenzt.

Vor Spielstart solltet ihr eurem Team ein System zuweisen, dass eurem Spiel am ehesten entspricht. Lauft ihr regelmäßig über die Außenbahnen und seid auf das Flankenspiel fixiert, solltet ihr ein 4-3-3 oder 3-4-3-System auswählen. Dabei solltet ihr euch natürlich für ein Team entscheiden, welches flinke Außenspieler im Kader hat. Für Konterspiele und defensives Spielen eignen sich die System 4-2-2-2 oder 5-2-2-1. Ein schneller Stürmer tut hier seinen ordentlichen Dienst. Fünf Verteidiger solltet ihr zudem aufstellen, wenn ihr auf dem Papier unterlegen seid und euch ein favorisiertes Team erwartet. In Ultimate Team bietet es sich an, Pace-Abuser durch eine 5-er-Abwehrkette zu stellen. Natürlich solltet ihr beim Ändern der Formation auch darauf achten, dass die Spieler noch auf ihren Stammpositionen spielen. Über Y, bzw. Dreieck im Team-Management-Menü könnt ihr das Untermenü öffnen, um zwischen Spielern für eine bestimmte Position durchzuschalten.

FIFA 14: Tipps für Freistöße

Ohne Übung gehen die meisten Freistöße meilenweit am Tor vorbei oder landen direkt in der Mauer. Doch wenn ihr das Prinzip für Freistöße einmal verinnerlicht, können diese zu einer gefährlichen Waffe für den Torerfolg werden. Hierfür solltet ihr die Möglichkeit nutzen, Freistöße in der Arena zu üben. Ein einfaches, aber effektives Mittel für Freistöße vor dem Tor ist das Herbeirufen eines zweiten Schützen. Haltet beim Freistoß die linke hintere Schultertaste gedrückt und tippt den Passknopf leicht an.
